The names for my quilt patterns come from places I’ve either been or from places that I have not visited so far but are for sure on my „to go to“ list! Marrekesh is on my top 3 places I want to visit. A friend of mine showed me pictures of her last stay there and I can tell you - What an amazing place! Colorful, full of energy and full of life!
This modern quilt pattern is a celebration of simplicity. The Marrakesh quilt is a simple yet bold design inspired by oriental tiles. This original quilt pattern is block based and beginner friendly. The single blocks are quickly put together and by rotating the blocks a mosaic-like impression is created.
