The desert wildlife collection + a free quilt pattern

The “Desert Wildlife” collection was inspired by the Saguaro national park in Tuscon, Arizonea. The giant Saguaro cacti is such a majestic plant and a symbol of the American west.

This desert inspired collection features an enchanting array of cacti in full bloom interspersed with the presence of coyotes and lizards, capturing the essence of the wild Southwest.

For example, experience the dynamic energy of the desert with the “roadrunner” pattern. This vibrant design showcases the iconic roadrunner in various poses, capturing its swift and spirited nature. Or, feel the precence of coyotes roaming the desert and lizards moving elegantly and nimbly among the cacti.

The patterns with simple shapes like strokes or triangles create a well balanced harmony within the desert wildlife collection. All designs can be wonderfully combined with each other. Together, they create a modern, elegant yet joyful feeling.

THE SAGUARO QUILT PATTERN

To celebrate the desert wildlife collection I designed a Free quilt pattern - The Saguaro Quilt. The Saguaro Quilt is a beginner friendly pattern, a fast make and the finished size is a 40’’ square - which makes it perfect for a baby quilt.

Add a touch of nature-inspired elegance to your home by making the Saguaro Quilt with fabrics from the desert wildlife collection.
